  • Courthouse Christmas Hours

    In observance of the Christmas holiday, the Board of Commissioners voted to modify the courthouse hours as follows:

    • Wednesday, December 24, 2025 – The Courthouse will close early at 1:00 PM.
    • Friday, December 26, 2025 – The Courthouse will be closed all day.

Everyone who builds a house or structure in Buffalo County floodplain must fill out a floodplain permit. There is a $50.00 fee for Floodplain permits, effective 2/24/2004.
