Office Assistant Clerk

This position is defined as an assistant to the overall functions of the office to include property valuation, protest filing, marriage licenses and occasional assisting with payroll and vendor claims. This position requires confidential and professional work when assisting the employees and the public.

JOB DUTIES

  • Greet and assist the public.
  • This position is purely defined as an assistant for the overall functions of the office. 

WAGE and BENEFITS

  • This is a non-exempt position
  • Temporary position May 28th – August 2nd
  • Average hours per week 25-35
  • Starting wage $17.00 per hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ABILITIES

  • Ability to contribute to a respectful workplace culture.
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Experience in Word, Excel and Adobe
  • Quality oral and written communication skill.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy and good research methods and techniques
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
