Courthouse Christmas Hours
In observance of the Christmas holiday, the Board of Commissioners voted to modify the courthouse hours as follows:

Wednesday, December 24, 2025 – The Courthouse will close early at 1:00 PM.

Friday, December 26, 2025 – The Courthouse will be closed all day.

Give Where You Live - Buffalo County Recreation Area—Ravenna Lake

Give Where You Live is a 24-hour community fundraising effort led by the Kearney Area Community Foundation that unites donors with local nonprofits and causes. Now in its 13th year, the event will take place on December 4th. Buffalo County Recreation Area—Ravenna Lake is a new donor this year and raising funds for the addition of pickleball/basketball courts, sand volleyball and kayak rentals. Your generous donation may be the secret ingredient to our Recipe for Success!
