The Buffalo County Public Defender's office in Kearney, has an opening for a Deputy Public Defender. The position is open beginning August 1, 2022. A Nebraska law license is required. Criminal law and appellate practice are preferred, but not mandatory. The position pays $78,000 per year, or more depending on experience. A generous benefit package is included with this position.
