Buffalo County Deputy Sheriff

The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff until 4 p.m. on Friday May 29, 2015. Must be at least 21 years of age and a U.S. citizen; have high school diploma or GED; valid Nebraska driver’s license; No Felony, Domestic Violence, or Serious Misdemeanor convictions. Must possess good character as determined by thorough background investigation and meet the Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification Standards. Written testing will be in conjunction with the City of Kearney on June 3 or 4, 2015 at the Law Enforcement Center in Kearney. Interviews will be held at a later date.
